Support Group for Neurodivergent folk

I’m often hearing from many late-diagnosed neurodivergent folk that they wish they could have a space to connect and be involved with other people who are more like them. It is difficult to put yourself out there to find your people when the very idea of doing so is terrifying.

Each month, I run a one-hour Zoom call where people who would like to can come and join and meet others who may be like-minded. Each session will include some structured discussion around our monthly theme, followed by time for free-form connection and conversation.

You are very much welcome to this group if you don’t have a diagnosis. Even if you don’t want to put a label on yourself, but resonate with some of the traits of an ND individual, that is completely valid too.

Cost:

The first session for everyone is completely free, so you can see if it is a good fit for you before committing to any further meet ups. If it is your first time joining, please email me on info@leighwhittakertherapy.co.uk letting me know which one will be your first meet up.

Following that, there are three pricing tiers to make sure everyone who wants to connect can join, and it supports me running this group alongside my day job:

The Community Support Rate (£4) is for those experiencing financial challenges. No explanation needed – if this is what works for you right now, choose this option.

The Standard Rate (£8) covers the basic costs.

The Sustainability Support Rate (£12) helps ensure I can keep offering the group and potentially support others who need the lower-cost option.

Choose the rate that feels honest and sustainable for you. What matters most is you have the opportunity to find your people in this safe space.

How to book:

To join the group, please select the date you would like to join above, which will take you to a stripe payment page to book. After booking, you’ll receive the Zoom link on the same day of the session. Unless it is your first session – then please email me stating which one will be your first, as this will be free of charge.

Some bits to know:

  • If you can no longer make a booked session, you can switch to a later date as long as you give 24 hours notice of the original date. Bookings are non-refundable.
  • Internet connection is your responsibility, refunds will not be offered.
  • A session will only go ahead if there are at least 3 people signed up. If this is not the case, you will receive a notification that we are not going ahead and receive the option of a refund or to rollover to the next session.
  • Max capacity for each session is 8 – this allows for the opportunity for everyone to contribute if they would like to.
  • This is a LGBTQ+ affirming space.
  • Any kind of hate speech or abuse will not be tolerated, you will be removed from the group and not receive a refund.
  • This is not therapy, it is a space to meet and connect with others. I will be present as a facilitator, not as a therapist.
