Therapy

Individual therapy

I enjoy working with people long-term to get to the root of what it is they are experiencing. Not just placing a small plaster over a large wound. I often work with clients who describe feeling left with a sense of “unfinished business” from previous short-term counselling and feel ready to explore themselves beyond a surface level.

Something I love about being a therapist is the opportunity to work with a wide diversity of clients. In particular, I have a lot of personal and clinical experience with neurodivergence, as well as gender, sex and relationship diversity (GSRD). I feel this is important to highlight as I am aware of the difficulties some clients may face in accessing therapy. I offer a safe and welcoming space to those looking to explore the challenges that are unique to them.

I love working both creatively and cognitively. This means I love working alongside thinkers who want to keep being curious about themselves by joining the dots together; or with clients who like to play or create as part of their journey.

Relationship therapy

I believe relationships can thrive when each person wants to show up for the other, regardless of whether the relationship is romantic, sexual, familial or platonic. People often feel as though seeking relationship therapy is a sign of crisis point and the relationship failing. I prefer to think of it as preventative maintenance for your relationship – you don’t wait until the engine breaks down to look after your car, and you don’t have to wait until things are falling apart to invest in your relationship’s health.
This applies to all relationships, therefore, I offer relationship therapy to the following:

  • Monogamous and polyamorous relationships
  • Parent and child relationships
  • Sibling relationships
  • Friend/platonic relationships

I have a particular interest in the topic of friendship breakdowns/break ups and ADHD/autistic pairings in relationships.
